As an entrepreneur and artist, Dominic Carola has enjoyed life's journey of pursuing dreams and helping others to make those dreams a reality. Carola is an award winning Director and Producer of animated content and has been in the Film and Animation industry executing visual storytelling for more than twenty five years. Originally getting his professional start by working for DC Comics in New York, Carola then headed west to attend the prestigious Walt Disney-founded art school, California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). There his student film won the inaugural Walter Lantz Animation Award, which was presented to him by Walter Lantz before his passing. While at CalArts, he was recruited by Walt Disney Feature Animation and went on to spend more than a decade working for (WDFA) in Orlando Florida. While at Disney's, Mr. Carola became a Lead Animator and animated on such films as LILO & STITCH, MULAN and BROTHER BEAR. His other animation film credits include JOHN HENRY, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, POCAHONTAS and THE LION KING. In addition, Mr. Carola served as the Director of Animation for Walt Disney's California Adventure Animation Pavilion, recognized for the THEA Award for theme park attractions. He also received another THEA award for THE SIMPSONS ride media content for Universal Studios theme parks. Dominic founded Premise Entertainment in 2001, which was originally launched as a weekend animation commercial house. With a desire to have an independent artist driven studio, it became his focus while also co - founding Project Firefly in 2004 along with several of his Walt Disney Feature Animation colleagues. Since then, he has overseen productions ranging from theatrical features, direct-to-consumer features and television projects. He has also served as the Head of Production for the Florida units on Universal Pictures' theatrical release of CURIOUS GEORGE as well as several other animated productions including WINNIE THE POOH Springtime for Roo and Walt Disney’s GOOFY'S: How to Hook up Your Home Theater. Premise Entertainment was privileged to be a partner studio for Walt Disney on the production of THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG film. Carola was the Head of Production and Co-Supervising Animator with Aaron Blaise for the traditional animation teams based at Premise Entertainment, on the Award winning John Lewis animated campaign THE BEAR AND THE HARE. Carola oversees production on projects of varying scope while also serving as an independent consultant on domestic and international visual storytelling projects and themed attractions. Mr. Carola is a family man and enjoys being associated with family-friendly content that has a positive uplifting message for worldwide audiences.
Ray Aguerrevere is a 14-year Premise Entertainment veteran, Mr. Aguerrevere has played a key role in setting strategic direction, business development, and negotiating service agreements with major studios like Disney, Universal, and Dreamworks. His experience combines leading global teams for these leading studios in feature animation, visual effect, and live film production. Mr. Aguerrevere has a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida. Aguerrevere was privileged to be part of the team that partnered with Walt Disney on the production of THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG film, and DreamWorks’ ME AND MY SHADOW development feature. He recently was a producer for the film DON’T SAY MY NAME, that dealt with the heartbreaking reality of human trafficking. Ray is also an Executive Producer of an 8-part sci-fi series called BEING, as well as a historical animated feature film slated for a global theatrical release in 2025.
Production Designer
Armand has been in the industry for three decades. He has worked full-time for studios such as Skydance Animation, Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Sony Pictures Animation. He also worked independently for studios such as Netflix, Niantic, Blizzard Entertainment, Blur Studios, Riot Games, and The Bible Project. Armand also has been teaching and conducting lectures, demos, and design workshops internationally. He and his wife are the organizers of the annual entertainment design event, Icon Manila. He also conducts an online mentorship program and teaches online at Brainstorm School in California.
Art Director
Ryan, a distinctive artist, who has worked with Premise Entertainment nearly fourteen years. Ryans artistic direction has driven many illustrations for Premise. He is currently spearheading the artistic direction for character development on our latest film project, Jesus.
Director of Animation
Justin, is a seasoned animator, and animation professor currently working full-time as the Director of Animation for Premise Entertainment. Justin worked as a Pixar Animation Studios animator for a cumulative total of 8 years, working on such films as Brave, Monsters University, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory, Cars 3, Incredibles 2, and Cars on The Road. He also worked for 4 years as a Computer Animation Professor at Ringling College of Art and Design, where in addition to teaching animation, he taught all aspects of the 3D pipeline, from story all the way to final frames.
Lead Editor
Lauren, Lead Editor, has over ten years of editing experience on animation features, live-action movies, and local news broadcasts. Lauren is proficient at managing and organizing projects and media within Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere. Professional work experience includes Fox Animation, Disney, News 12 Connecticut, NBC Sports, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and Premise Entertainment.
Finance Manager / Line Producer
Iris’s career in TV and Film began when she was accepted into the Disney College Program at the Disney/MGM Studios. With a career spanning 30 years working in Production Accounting, Finance Management, and Line Producing, work experience includes many Disney specials, HBO series From the Earth to the Moon, and animated feature films like Universal’s Curious George and Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, to name a few. Iris enjoys the excitement of pursuing and reaching goals through financial analysis, projections, budgeting, and job cost analysis.
Head of Production
Jason, Head of Production, has over thirty years of industry experience, working on films such as Lilo & Stitch, Ice Age, and Rio Frachise, topped with additional experience in the gaming industry. Most signigicetly Jason is a husband of thirty years, father of two and grandfather of two.
